Are one-way hires possible and what is the charge?

One way hires are possible between all our branches - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns & Canberra. All one-way hires over 10 days are free of charge. If you would like to do a one-way hire less than 10 days then please contact our Jucy team to check if that is possible and if so what the fee would be

What is the minimum hire period?

Minimum rental period is 5 - 7 days depending on pick up location & availability. One-way rentals are available between all branch locations. Minimum hire period for one-way rentals is 10 days. Shorter one-way rentals will be considered, however if accepted a one-way fee may apply.

Please note: that the standard minimum hire period is subject to change over high season. Please contact reservations for more information.

What days is Jucy Rentals closed?

All Jucy Rentals branches are closed on Christmas Day (25 December), Boxing Day (26 December) and the New Years Day (1 January).

How many people can travel in the Jucy Crib?

2 people

Can baby seats be fitted into the Jucy Crib?

No, unfortunately baby seats cannot be fitted into our vehicles

Are there any hidden costs?

The per day rate that you pay includes standard insurance, unlimited mileage & 24 hour roadside assistance. There is an additional charge of 2.5% for stamp duty which is a government charge in Australia and you will pay this when you collect your vehicle (unless you choose the VIP Insurance option)

What do I get when I collect my vehicle?

Do you hire any additional items?

Yes, here at Jucy we hire out additional items which must be pre booked through our Jucy Reservations team - just let them know what you require at time of booking!

Do I get bedding and living equipment included in my Jucy Crib?

Yes. The Jucy Crib is fitted out with pillows, sheets, duvet cover, cooking utensils, pots, pans, cups & cutlery!

Can I hire a Jucy Crib if I am under 21 years old?

Yes you can, as long as you have a full drivers licence and a credit card. Please note that the rate will not change - the only difference is your bond will be slightly more.

Can I reduce the bond/excess on my Jucy Crib?

Yes. We have 3 different options which you can choose from. Can I pull up and camp on the side of the road?

We recommend that our customers use camping grounds around Australia, however you can free camp in some areas. We recommend the Big4 campgrounds in Australia - visit their website www.big4.com.au

Do you do multi-hire rates if I hire a vehicle in NZ as well?

Yes we do. Please email our reservations team - info@jucy.co.nz
