When I first saw a Jucy van, I thought the advert on the van meant a mobile juice drink for sale,.It took me a while to realize i was wrong. The Jucy van with upstairs I hired was excellent. Hi, I loved the Jucy van there was everything that you could think of. Everything was lovely and clean and I had no prodlems using any of the facilities that were on board. If there is one thing that I could change it would be the lengh of the bed. My hubby and I are a bit to tall for it and had a struggle fining somewhere to stretch out. Everything was sweet from the word go! Lee was very friendly, helpful & informative when i picked van up. The car was amazing, only thing was the jack insert for the auxillery on CD player was broken so couldn't hear movies or music without holding lead in. Our Jucy trip was great fun and the camper was exactly what we wanted. Great to drive and easy to use. The Jucy vouchers for the Nomads hostels were also handy. Our only gripes would be about the DVD player screen breaking after 2 days and being given a van with a lifeless rear battery which was a problem when it came to keeping our food cold in the fridge if our journys were sort. The overall Jucy experience was great. We used the "Jucy" stops at Airlie Beach and Townsville. Townsville stop was disappointing as it was only a backpackers and had no nice place to park the car overnight. We were advised to park the van in the carpark of the Townsville location which was depressing, smelly, dark had broken glass on the ground and leaking waste water pipes. A far cry from the Airlie Beach location which we adored. Staff at both Brisbane and Cairns location were lovely. There were a few problems with our van before we left like the fridge not working and the stove would not stay locked when pulled out which would've been a fire hazard if staff had not amended the problem. My only complaint was the fact the windscreen had three significant chips in the window which had started to crack and spider significantly. When we returned the van the person who checked us in was surprised we were given a car in this condition. Other than that we have raved to all our friends about our experience and look forward to our next Jucy adventure. When will you be opening branches in WA and NT??? Maya De Nardi

Please stop recommending Adventurers Back Packers in Townsville. It was not only the most disgusting place that we stayed at during our travels but also the only time that we felt unsafe. We would not want anyone else to feel the way that we felt during our stay and would highly recommend avoiding at all costs. Overall our Jucy experience was excellent and will and have passed along our praise for your company and the staff that we associated with during our short relationship. We had a great time on our jucy adventure, the van was comfy and had everything we needed. The only thing we where unhappy about is the tolls. As a hire company i believe each van should have a etag with it. Charging customers $50 for each unpaid toll when they are only a few dolllars each is absalutley ridiculas and not right. Me and my buddy (henrik brok) rented a juicy car with stress free insurance for 51 days for a rather cheap price. We've had an amazing adventure and been able to do lots more stuff than for example doing a greyhound trip. We are ekstremely satisfied with the car and only had a few problems with the battery, which we just made a quick call to Juicy and right away we got directions to some mechanic who fixed it right away. We had an amazing time travelling the east coast of Oz with the Jucy!!! The campa was really easy to drive and park and the freedom that came with it was worth double the money we paid!! :) We especially loved the way driving a Jucy automatically made you part an the on-the-road Jucy family !!! Jucy the company was fantastic! When a couple of things didn't work in the campa, they gladly fixed it for us, free of charge, no hassle. The crib was cozy and had everything we needed, although the stove top wasn't the most efficient. We did find that some cities were unwelcoming to travelers in campervans in general which was disappointing. Not a huge deal, but one place in Byron Bay that was advertised on Jucy's website, turned us away. But overall we had a great trip. Make sure to honk at the other Jucys you pass! Samantha Garvey

When we got to NZ in Jan 2010, I (Karen) became very ill and we had to fly home quickly. I eventually had surgery for a cancer tumour and have been out of sorts for most of last year. However, I am doing exceptionally well, so need to get this off to you. We had such a wonderful time in Queensland, enjoying your jucy van sooo much. We had so much fun, just like teenagers, again. The service we enjoyed from you and your company staff was just perfect. Thank you so much for everything you arranged for us. We are just getting out of a long, cold winter, but not that much snow. We had lots of rain during Feb and Mar, but today is lovely and sunny so I need to get out and dig out the garden weeds ready for planting spring flowers, etc. Denis has been busy helping my brother build a new house, not far from here. I liked my Jucy camper much better than the Spaceship camper I rented earlier in my trip to Australia. For the price I was satisfied, however I was disappointed to have to bring it to the Sydney depot to have the interior sliding door handle fixed without getting any consideration for it (was given to us in Melbourne with a broken handle, completely unacceptable) and the tinting on the windows made it so dark that I had a hard time seeing other cars while driving with sunglasses on. What can you expect from a car on which it is written 'Don t you wish your campa was hot like me' ? Only the best of course. And we have to recognize that we were positively surprised with this amazing campa. It allows you to sleep in remote places where you just enjoy alone a glass wine with a wonderfull landscape. The Jucy campa comes with everything including a fridge,...and also a dryer when you are wet from your bushwalking. Just put the heater to the max, drive an hour and you will be completely dry. Had a fine time over five days. Choppa was perfect for two. The van was great to drive, had no problems, even at 180kms! hehe. Pod was bigger and much more comfortable than first thought. Slept perfectly in the penthouse! No problems cooking, and the little fridge was great. Thought for an improvement - a secure insect screen that closes across the sliding door of the van. In North QLD, it's a bit stuffy in there during the night, and the small fan was WAAAAAY too noisy to leave on. Had a ball, and will rent again for the next road trip.

great 'crib' we hired - even when weather at motoGP on phillip is. was freezing cold (straight off antartica!!) we were cosy and warm all night. Pity no one we came across in VIC had heard of Jucy tho' or the type of vehicle 'crib' (a bit of a nightmare trying to explain to 'eastlink tollway' bloke over the phone!) - no complaints - all good - hubby had never used a campervan b4 so he's sold on the whole thing too now (and we'll be 'seniors' soon).. reminded me of my VW tour of Europe in the 70s. Thanks for Jucy and to Jucy :) ps: no silly or funny pics tho' ..

rental BRS(2209)-MEL(0510). pro: all necessary things (and more) provided, clean and in good condition. description in youtube movie exact. very warm welcome in brisbane office, very good introduction. no worries about empty gas containers or water. good value (but: not booked on jucy website where it was more expensive!). car came with only 95,000 km and no mechanical problems. although not stated: fly screen and roofwindow! many things included: relocation fee, additional driver - most attractive to outravel concurrents. cons: few space for luggage (the only exaggeration in the spot). pot too small for a four people meal. consumption higher than described - not surprising because jucycampas without penthouse were stated the same. also we had the feeling that quality of interior/smaller things was getting worse quite quickly: functionality of electric door opener in key, opening one of the doors, converting bench became unstable (but that are really small hints during a successful rental!). drop off was relaxed but very un-German (:-) - no receipt for handed car, very quick. Altogether a very good rental with only few exceptions. we would recommend it.

We decided to go on a last minute road trip and got a great deal with JUCY! The van was a little bit late for us to pick up however the staff were accommodating and gave us compensation for this with a free day's rental. We had a great time and the van was ideal, the only thing we think would improve this van dramatically would be a fan and flyscreens for the windows or at least some of them so you can sleep with the windows open when there are mossies outside. Also an outdoor table would be great! An added extra would be a tarp but I realise this is probably asking too much for the cheap prices you provide, so really just the fan and flyscreens! We booked a Jucy out of Sydney for a week. First good thing was that we were upgraded to a new larger Jucy just out of the box by friendly staff. Then the comfort factor travelling as the kids were really happy campers in the back with the big soft seats, DVD console and music connectivity, while on the lookout for roadkill and Aussi birds. Then I was really happy when hubby cooked every night on the cute, compact and clever kitchen out the back. We had a great trip - thank you Jucy!

We had a geat time with the Jucy Van. It drove well in traffic and on the open road. Comfortable bed and great cooking facility. We recommend the van for anyone who loves travelling for a short stay in fine weather

Hi Jucy, We had a great time using our camper van in Australia but the spare battery wouldn't recharge (oscillator broken) and it was a pain at night with no lights, plus no fridge! Besides that everything was OK.

rented a van from Sydney to Cairns for 22 days in July. We were very happy with the vehicule, very convenient and very well equiped for such a small space. Very nice people at pick-up in Sydney and Drop off in Cairns., very fast also, so we did not waste hours during paper works as it happens sometimes with campers rentals.

We have had a good holiday experience with our Jucy camper. The car was comfortable and reliable. A few minor suggestions: - make a manual of the car available to the customers. Now we had to look for some time to find a way to check the engine oil level (which can be found under the passenger's chair). - make a small table a part of the available camping gear. Now we had chairs to sit on, but had to look on each camping for a place to put our plates and glasses on. - have a diesel version of the car available as an option. It will make the costs per kilometer less, because of its higher fuel efficiency. Good luck and a lot of success with Jucy!

We traveled from Sydney to Brisbane and had a great time. Van was new and really well equipped. We loved spotting other jucy vans (there were loads out on the road) and reading the different slogans on the side. In terms of improvements theres not much, but better dvds would help! One other thing as we were at the beach a lot we carried a fair bit of sand back so a Dustbuster would be a welcome addition when it comes to tidying up!

I had a fantastic time driving my jucy campa from sydney to cairns recently. As a woman travelling by myself I wanted something reliable and easy to drive. The campa had a brand spanking new outfit, it was great to be driving and living in something so new and shiny! I got great feedback everywhere I went and more than a few envious looks when I mentioned the dvd player. My only suggestion would be a bit more branding around the sydney and cairns drop offs so they are easier to find. Thanks!
